In Greece and especially in Northern Greece, the ports are few in comparison with the real mooring needs, while quite often are unsuitable for the purpose they were constructed for. The reasons are firstly the inadequate information about the real porting needs and secondly the imperfect design of these places.

The design and the construction of ports - in order to be done correctly – require parallel study of many parameters as well as the knowledge of people who are experts in this sector. Marine & Sailing Enterprises S.A. have been active in the sector of Yachting since 1993 and their many of their executive members have been close to the sea for more than 30 years. Every one specializes in a different sector, so altogether they can cover the needs and conditions of a correct and complete harbor design.

Our company has collected information about many places in Northern Greece concerning the area’s sea currents, the waves, the direction and force of the most often and strongest winds, the individual microclimatological conditions of each place, air-photographs, statistical studies, the deficiencies and the needs of the area and in general all the elements needed in order to build new, safe port-places or to improve the ones, which already exist.
